Straight Line

So by now, I guess you guys have realized that I'm a bit of a liar.  If you recall, I said that I would be more consistent with the blog posts.  Well, I haven't really done that.  But if you've also noticed, I always have an excuse, hehe.  This time it's because I've been working evening shifts at work which leaves no time to do anything else.

Anyway, so I've got some new photos for you guys of my nails.  And obviously from these photos you can see that I don't really know how to use my camera.  Usually the photos you see on here are taken by my sister or my boyfriend, so in these my nails are out of focus (ugh, fail).  I promise not to take my own photos anymore.

The Little Things

Valentine's Day is on Tuesday (in case you didn't know) and every year my boyfriend and I never know what to do.  So I thought I'd compile a list of activities that you and your significant other might enjoy.

  • Cook dinner together.  Go out together to buy the ingredients and spend some quality time in the kitchen.
  • Go for a walk.  Nothing's more romantic than going for a stroll together hand in hand except maybe...
  • Go ice skating.  Again, the hand in hand thing plus add the slight danger of falling and you've got yourself a romantic date!
  • Lounge around in bed.  When everyday's a busy day, it's nice to just lie down, unwind and relax.
  • Revisit the place where you first met.

Remember, the most important thing is spending time with each other, doing things that you both love, and showing your love for each other.  Valentine's day is just another day, don't stress out too much about it.  You should be showing your love for each other 365 days a year, so if this one day isn't perfect, you've got 364 more days to show it.

Have a great Valentine's Day!

Made for Walking

It's too cold outside, so I'm taking the shoot inside.  Even though I'm Canadian, I can't stand the cold (hence the numerous jackets in my closet).  We got a huge dumping of snow last night so I'm gonna try to stay indoors for the next little while. Though what I do love about the winter is that I get to wear all my cozy knits.. such as the one above.

I also started my pintrest account... I didn't quite get the idea in the beginning but now I'm addicted!  There are so many pretty pictures out there!  Friend me at twentyypins.

Have a great weekend!

February Air

First off, sorry for slacking on the posts.  It's been a crazy busy few weeks.  But anyway, I'm ok and I'm back!

The boyfriend and I went on our first date in two weeks last night, is it normal to see your boyfriend once every two weeks?  I think he's lucky I'm so preoccupied with everything else or else I might turn psycho-girlfriend on him.

So last night we drove across town for an Italian buffet.  I made sure to wear a baggy sweater so that I can stuff myself and not look like I'm 4 months pregnant.  Afterwards, we went shopping at two malls.  Yup, you read that right, two malls! Sigh, he spoils me.
