The Frills
For the baby shower, I decided to go with a "shower" theme. To dress up my sister's home for the baby shower, I made pom pom clouds with rain drops falling from them.
I learned how to make the pom poms from martha stewart's website (is there anything the woman can't do?) and when folding the tissue paper accordian style, I made it thicker in width for more of a "cloud" effect. Then I went to the hardware store and stole some blue paint chips (is it still stealing if they were free?). I cut them into rain drops and attached with clear string.
It was so simple, costs less than $1.00, and they were a huge hit. Thank you pintrest.

Truth or Dare
Once a cheater, always a cheater?
We hear about cheating in Hollywood all the time. Most recently Kristen Stewart cheated on her 3-year guy, Robert Pattinson, so the relationship topic this week is whether or not you can forgive a cheater.
Though I've been lucky enough not to have been cheated on, I know way too many girls who have been cheated on. For me, cheating is totally unacceptable and it's a dating dealbreaker. Here's why:
Like I said before, I have no experience in this whole cheating business but I've seen so many girlfriends go through the pain.
Have any of you been cheated on? How did you handle it? Or how do you wish you handled it?

Though I've been lucky enough not to have been cheated on, I know way too many girls who have been cheated on. For me, cheating is totally unacceptable and it's a dating dealbreaker. Here's why:
- It shows his character flaws - if you're the type of person who can cheat on me and hurt me in that way, you don't respect me. But fortunately for me, I would have enough self-respect to do myself a favour and leave him.
- Trust issues - I tend to overthink things, I analyze and overanalyze. If a guy cheated on me, I wouldn't be able to trust him anymore, everytime he goes out with his buddies, I'd be wondering which girl is under his arm. Trust is a very valuable quality that is commonly overlooked in a relationship. Once it's broken, it's really hard to get back and for me, I think I'd always have that bit of doubt.
- You deserve better - whatever his reasons or excuses are, the fact is that he cheated. He lied to you and put you through all this pain. There are good guys out there but if you keep staying with a guy who keeps lying to you, you'll never find those good guys. The least you should get from a relationship is honesty.
Like I said before, I have no experience in this whole cheating business but I've seen so many girlfriends go through the pain.

Ladylike
I often pride myself on finding great deals, that's why I always share the prices of my clothes with you guys. There's nothing more satisfying that finding the perfect dress/shoes/pants/etc. and then seeing that red sticker. However, on the rare occasion, I do splurge a little on an item that I just have to have (and that I don't think I'd find on sale later). This dress was my splurge (and technically.. it wasn't even that expensive). My friends, I present to you my pink lace dress.
If you've been following me for a while.. you'll remember that I was crazy about all the pastel pink that H&M's ecoline had for the summer. I also posted a pic of this dress and said I had to have it.. Well went the collection came out.. I went to the stores on the first day to make sure I got this dress in my size. Now that summer's ending, I see a lot of pieces from that collection on sale but I haven't seen this dress on sale. Therefore, I conclude that my splurge was actually a good purchase because it sold out, had I waited, I would have never got my hands on it. And trust me.. there's nothing worse than a woman with non-purchasing regret (my boyfriend would second that).
Oh and don't forget to enter the giveaway!
